Re: Central Machinery micro mill model 47158
A 1/2" shank is about as big as you need on smaller mills. You may be able to use a 5/8 endmill with a 1/2" shank. I have a couple in my stash, but not sure the smaller mills can drive them

I could get a different drill chuck adapter or ER-32 adapter, but as these work I won't spend the extra money on that.

I???? bought a set of MT2 Weldon shankendmills from All Industrial tool a few years back . I think it was a 5 or 8 piece set . WHen? traded that mill & holders for a nice Mig welder a couple

Re: Central Machinery micro mill model 47158
You can use MT2 collets as tool holders. LMS only has them with a 3/8-16 thread but you should be abke to find them with the M10-1.5 thread on Amazon or ebay. Amazon has an MT2 to ER25 collet holder

Problem solved. It is like a bigger mill, unscrewed the draw bar a little and hit it with a piece of aluminum and hammer. It came loose. It is a #2 Morse with a threaded hole of 10X1.5 MM. the other

The manual on the internet archive lists the spindle as #2 morse. Looks like there is a drawbar, item 77 in the exploded view. H Gilbert [email protected]> wrote:

If it is like mine it takes R8 collets/chucks.?? Loosen the Drawbar a few turns and whack the end of it with a mallet.

I couldn't find that model number on the Harbor Freight web site - what is that machine? If it's a mill or "mill-drill", you may have received a wedge-shaped chunk of steel with the other
