‘American Idol’ Announces First-Ever Three-Hour Easter Sunday Special
The singing competition brings joy and inspiration to the stage in a special three-hour ‘Songs of Faith’ episode on April 20.

?will be celebrated this season on??with a special three-hour “Songs of Faith” episode to celebrate the joy and inspiration of the holiday.
In addition to performances by the?Idol?Top 20, the night will include special guest star appearances from GRAMMY? winner?CeCeWinans?alongside?Idol?alum?Roman Collins, who made it to the Top 12 in Season 22;?American Idol‘s artist in residence?Jelly Roll; acclaimed Christian artist?Brandon Lake;?and?The Brown Four.
Adding to the celebration, judges?Luke Bryan,?Lionel Richie?and??will each take the stage for performances.
The?Idol?Top 20’s faith-inspired songs performances will be voted on by America as the countdown to the finale continues and artists are eliminated each week as the show gets closer to naming the new?American Idol?for 2025.
But first, the competition continues this Sunday, April 6 with “Hollywood Week: Showstopper,” when the competitors remaining after last week’s cut of at least 70 hopefuls will bring their A-game, delivering powerful performances that will make or break their journey to the next level.
Then on Monday, April 7, the brand-new “Head-to-Head” round will air as the competitors face off in intense head-to-head battles, and this season’s new artist in residence, Jelly Roll, makes his debut.
