Hi Terry. I bought several of these couplers online a few years ago. They fit my Dalton spindle. I don't recall what I had in mind for them, as I have an original spindle protector somewhere.

It is an optical illusion, the "paddle" is just the main part of the lever. ?The curved piece that you see is separate from the lever and it does the locking by pivoting parallel with the bed.

The paddle lever just above the feed/thread reverse level is part of the lever, it isn't a separate piece. ? It does look like the feed/thread reverse lever has been braised. ?At first I thought it

All three lead screws are 7/16-10 acme. Cross slide and tail stock are left hand thread, compound is right hand thread. You also need to address any end play in the lead screw mounting bushings. The
