It has probably been 60 years since a hardware store carried a pulley like this and copying the one I don't have would be hard to do!
Thanks, L. Leonard, D, and Dennis. I will probably be using a treadmill motor for power.? Will check the output speed of motor drive and aim for a top spindle speed of about 700 rpm.? Have also considered adding CNC control so I could do threading without changing gears to get inch, metric, or modular threads.? If that ever fits the budget I will do it in such a way that the machine can be returned to original.? This machine will be plenty big enough for the types of projects I have in mind.? Have a South Bend Heavy 10 sold new in 1956 and a Rockwell Delta 10 inch, but neither is set up for metric or modular threading..
