2010 Review:
Jan-went to Walmart and Costco

Mar-ditto to above
Apr-ditto to above and also went to Fiesta in San Antonio.? Also took a day trip to Rocksprintgs, Tx just because we have never been there before.? On the way back to Boerne, we stopped to see Stonehenge replica in Ingram, Tx before it is dismantled.
May-ditto to Mar and also went to Kerrville Folk Festival.? We go there every year and are probably Kerrverts by now.? Amazing to see so many hippie, weirdos, and old people (like us) plus Obama bumper stickers (mostly on old VW vans).? They still sell dye-tie t shirts there also.
Jun-ditto to Mar.? Also mowed our lawn.

Aug-ditto to Jul plus we went to visit Lanny for his 70th birthday party in Az.? On the way back to Boerne, we stopped in Las Cruces, NM and found a pepper store where we bought dried chili peppers and also green Hatch peppers--yum.? Then we stopped at a bed & breakfast in Balmorhea, Tx.? Would you believe the owner is a food broker/other stuff broker and deals with Peter Dunn's in Dalton?? He also sells Laird Ranch jelly (made by Troyer's in Holmes County).? Small world indeed.
Sep-ditto to July plus we went to Hawaii (big island of Hawaii and also Maui).? Rose has always wanted to go to Hawaii so I finally gave in--and glad I did.? The sunsets in Maui are for real.
Oct-ditto to July and also went to the International Accordion Festival in San Antonio.? It is an annual event and would recommend it to everyone (even though I don't really like accordions).? Where else can you see a group who sings punk rock /conjunto music with accordions?
Nov-ditto to July plus we went to Wurstfest in new Braunfels, Tx.? Good accordion music, sausage and beer extravaganza.
Dec-ditto to July and we plan to go to the annual Tuba Christmas Festival on the Riverwalk at the Arneson Theater.? Probably 100 or so tubas of various shapes and sizes with performers from ages of 8-80 performing.? Would highly recommend this to everyone.

2011 Preview:
No clue yet what we will do next year.?? For sure, go to Walmart (Wally World)? and Costco.
Tentative plans are to drive the perimeter of? USA and stop in Washington, DC to visit my sister.? Then on to Boston to see our daughter.? Then probably to Dalton to see my brother.? Then who knows what from there.? Maybe North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota just because we have never been there.
