1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling (chop cherries)
2 cups chopped pecans
1 cup candied cherries (chopped)
Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom only of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Prepare brownie batter as directed on package except omit water. Add pie filling and 1 cup pecans. Pour into prepared pan. Cover brownie batter with 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup diced cherries. Bake for 22 to 26 minutes. Cool completely. Cut with plastic knife (makes smooth edges).
