I have two DQ-10a, two DQ-1w. and an LP1 crossover.? I am the original
owner.? I purchased them directly from Dahlquist.? I was able to do
that because, at the time, I worked for an electronics magazine that
covered audio and other topics.? So, I had industry connections.
The rule of thumb that I have always followed is that stereo
loudspeaker systems should form either an isoceles triangle with the
prime listening position, or an equilateral triangle with the prime
listening position.
This page,
<>,
recommends an equilateral-triangle arrangement.
Over the years, I have had my Dahlquists in several different rooms.? I
have generally used an isoceles-triangle arrangement.? ?The spacing has
depended upon the dimensions of the particular room in which the
Dahlquists were mounted at the time.
