If I were in your shoes, I would refoam both woofers at the same time so they perform similarly and have the same lifespan. Foam surrounds should last 10-15 years before deteriorating. It's convenient that Simply Speakers is close to you. I had them refoam a pair of woofers 15 years ago and they do good work. Bill LeGall does fantastic work and he can rebuild almost anything, but he will probably charge more and I don't think it's necessary for a simple refoam job. That's just my 2 cents.
