Logging on DZ lab through JTAlert
4
When I finish a QSO on ft8 and log it, JTAlert sends that log file to my DXKeeper log file. Exactly what I want. Then when I send my response and send my response and power, when I hit ok a second file gets sent to my DXkeeper log file. I have to delete one each time a log a new contact. How do I stop that? Al. LoTW status error?
7
I received the following resposnse from LoTW after giving it a Sync LoTW QSOs button press: Date Time Call Band Mode Submode Station Call Result 2025-03-18 02:42:06 6Y7EI 80M FT8 W5SV Error: no matching QSO in log LotW Sync QSLs: 1 QSL processed, 0 log entries updated, 1 error I checked the log, and that QSO was in doubt, and I had confirmed a QSO with that station about 7 hours later, so I deleted the corresponding entry in DXKeeper. However, I still get the same error now. What do I need to do to eliminate that error? I assume somehow remove it from LoTW, but how? Thanks in advance & 73 de Dave, W5SV

Populating maps with log data?
4
Is there a way to populate one of the DXLab maps with log records? I am wondering whether worked or confirmed DXCC entities or zones can be illustrated on associated maps. I have DX Atlas. Thanks Rich, NU6T

My last 12 OSO's would not upload to Lotw
7
When I submit most requested I get a blank window. If I try to upload manually I get a message that no QSO's were submitted because some QSO's were already uploaded or invalid. Of course checking Lotw shows none of the 12 were submitted? If I look at what should have been uploaded I see a message that says Invalid prop mode (internet) on line 5 ? This all started on March 16th. I did submit for a new TQSL for our club station on March 14. When I look at TQSL certificates it still shows that my certificate is active and usable. Each TQSL is under its own call sign. Anyone have an idea? Al. KA9OUT

Prefix/Call not transferred to DXKeeper
4
Double clicking a call in SpotCollector with a prefix/call sign eg. FY/X8WW shows up in the DXKeeper filter box as X8WW but.... does show up in Capture as FY/X8WW with the prefix DXCC (FY) and is logged as FY/X8WW. While it is nice to know I worked the base call before I also have interest in knowing if I have worked the prefix DX before. Is this something that can be changed so the entire call is used to filter DXKeeper not just the 'base' call? Perhaps a toggle between the two? Thanks for DXLab it is surely the pinnacle of logging programs. 73 Den

QSO Path in DX Atlas?
13
When using DXView World Map the WSJTX FT8 qso path is plotted correctly;y. If i enable DX Atlas map instead of the World Map, the qso path is not plotted. Is it possible to have the qso path shown in DX Atlas? 73 Paul w2eck

QRZ subscription value?
16
I'm getting back into the hobby and am interested in DXing. I currently have little interest in QRZ awards. I'm guessing that QRZ will help with information useful when seeking QSL cards from ops who don't use LotW. LotW is my primary QSL route. More than 10 years ago I sought paper QSL cards and expect to do so now for needed QSLs. I just received a WAZ award due to my old QSL card collection and LotW. Is QRZ relevant today and is there an advantage to buying a Premium subscription to avoid ads? I'm considering getting a subscription and API to use in DXKeeper/DXLab. Thanks for your insight and experience. Rich, NU6T

Having problem connecting DXLab Commander with Flex 6400!
3
New user here. Was able to install DXLab applications and had no problem connecting Commander to the Flex 6400, by specifying the IP and Port address. Upgraded to the new Commander today and I have lost the connection. Followed documentation to run older exe file to no avail. If I go to ports and select a port with 19200 - 8,none,2,off,on, nothing connects. I am running Windows 11 and did not upgrade. Failed to do a restore point before upgrade of Commander. I am at a lost! Any ideals what I can try. Copied errorlog.txt below with error 9 code. 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > CI-V Commander version 16.0.3 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > App.Path : C:\DXLab\Commander 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > App.exe : CI-V Commander 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > Module : C:\DXLab\Commander\CI-V Commander.exe 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > Operating System : Windows 11 (64-bit) build 22631 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > Locale ID : 1033 (0x409) 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > ANSI CodePage : 1252 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > OEM CodePage : 437 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > Country : United States 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > Language : English 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > DecimalSeparator : . <46><0> 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > ThousandSeparator : , <44><0> 2025-03-13 19:06:43 > DXLab Apps : 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > Monitors : 2 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > Monitor 1 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > width : 1920 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > height : 1080 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > dimensions : (0, 0)-(1920, 1080) 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > Monitor 2 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > width : 1920 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > height : 1080 2025-03-13 19:07:01 > dimensions : (-1920, 0)-(0, 1080) 2025-03-13 19:07:01.505 > program error 9 in module CIVModule.FilterGroupClick: Subscript out of range 2025-03-13 19:07:20.022 > Common.Terminate: CI-V Commander shutdown Roland NA5Q

Change QSO in bulk-Another question
5
I have read the instructions and used them before to change QSO's in bulk ie QTH, but for some reason I can't seem to figure out how to change LOTW and eQSL from "N" to a blank. I did get QSL changed using the drop down menu in MOD, but the others are not listed in the drop down. Above the section with the drop down for MOD there is a place that has four spaces for Caption title and syntax (I think that is what it was) where you can save it to use again. I placed them in there and saved it as A-Index, but it didn't change the QSO's. I know I am missing something simple. Sorry Dave for my ignorance. TIA, Walt ~ WB7UOF

SpotCollector Special Callsigns won't load
4
When I direct SpotCollector to load a special callsign file in .txt format, it appears to do so, showing that the file is being loaded, but the resulting list is empty. The file is in the same format I used on the computer with my previous DXLab installation, and the options are the same. There are no column headings (Callsign, Tag List, Expires), and I am unable to enter any text in the last row (the one with an * in the first column). Jim N7US

Special Event...
8
Can DXLab do this, or does anyone know of how I can make this happen? I plan on doing a "Special Event Station" And of course we will be logging all the contacts that are made. Now I know there are many web site that you can UP-Load your finished log, And it will plot on a map all the locations that are in the log. Done that many times. And we want to do something similar to that BUT.... We want it to happen Live. Like say we contact AA6YQ, and log him. Then in real time, or as fast as possible he gets plotted on the map. A Map that anyone can view. Does anyone know of any way that this can be done? Joe WB9SBD

IOTAMeme4WIN
The current version of DXKeeper provides an "IOTAmem4win update" checkbox in the IOTA panel on the Configuration window's Awards tab. DXKeeper's Reference Documentation describes this checkbox thusly: ------- This panel's IOTAmem4win checkbox determines whether generating an IOTA progress report will also create IOTA_Worked and IOTA_Confirmed update files for IOTAMem4WIN in DXKeeper's Reports sub-folder. The URL to which IOTAMe4WIN links http://www.rsgbiota.org/downloads.php4 produces a "page no longer exists" error if one attempts to traverse it. There is no mention of IOTAMem4WIN in the current IOTA-World documentation: https://www.iota-world.org/iota-directory/iota-programme-rules/iota-programme-application-procedures.html My understanding is that DXKeeper's current submission support for IOTA award applications provides the necessary ability to convey QSOs to IOTA-world for IOTA award credit; the file generated for submission to IOTAMem4WIN is not used. In the next version of DXKeeper, the IOTA panel on the Configuration window's Awards tab contains 3 new checkboxes: - Mixed - HF - VHF To avoid expanding the size of DXKeeper's Configuration window when the Awards tab is selected, I plan to make room by removinig the "IOTAmem4win update" checkbox. If there's a reason to not remote this checkbox, please let me know. 73, Dave, AA6YQ

Invalid administrative subdivision errors

I'm trying to import ADIF files into DXKeeper. I have errors I need to fix for a single QSO with Hawaii that shows "<CNTY:8>HI,Kauai". I've been trying to learn how to properly fix this error without success. Any help will be appreciated. What have I done wrong? The original CQ Magazine references are no longer available. Recovering from crash - DXKeeper QSOs upload to LoTW error
3
When uploading QSOs to LoTW, previously logged QSOs recovered to DXKeeper from OneDrive log backup are uploading to LoTW without any errors. However, New QSOs, logged since the recovery are being disabled thus: "Disabled QSL Queue entry for 9K2GR on 2025-03-13 at 23:22:08 - station location "Williston, Florida" specified in QSO's QTHID item "w4ndx" doesn't match station location "W4NDX" selected on the QSL Configuration window's LotW tab" I have chased this around until I am dizzy. How do I resolve this? Bruce, W4NDX. -- Bruce - W4NDX
