After this post, I uninstalled WSJT-X "Improved" and went back to WSJT-X.? I find that I can hardly operate it!? I have some learning to do -- but perhaps I've done the right thing.

When he was leading the WSJT-X development team, now SK Bill G4WJS complained on several occasions that the hostile forks of WSJT-X were costing his team significant time and energy. That's why there's no supported interoperation between DXLab and "hostile forks" of WSJT-X.
Another example: HRD - a commercial product - contains open source code from FLDigi.
