Yes. Thanks. I agree. In this case I can only stand back, and she herself, has to find the answer. Whatever she decides, she seems to have a far greater understanding of how the ego system does not work than almost all the older Course students I know. She certainly works at it harder, too. She is using this relationship as a classroom.?Career and children she is doing or not as guided. I think she is an exception, but really I don't know.

There are exceptions (which is a given).? I have met some young folks who I feel are very old souls, and it seems like they know exactly why they are here.?

However, the more I understand how this ego thought system work and how fool proof it is, there are certain stages that we have to go through.

We have to try things in this world in order to finally come to the conclusion it does not work.

Even those of us who have been doing the Course for a while, we are still struggling between accepting the Course for what it really is, or trying to make this illusionary world a better place to live via the Course.

We have to become a fully developed "ego" and see that it doesn't work before we are in enough pain to start to question even question it.

There are some good Course concepts/principles that young adults can use and appreciate .. but for the most part, if they want to get married, have children, careers which is the normal pattern for folks ... the real message of the Course can be a challenge.
