Hi David:
?
I know that you did not ask me, but I think that D. Patrick Miller
wrote about it, in his book "The complete story of the Course."
?
>>I am interested, as I've been loosely involved in groups before
and it's only after you've been involved awhile you get to hear all the things
that would have made you leave sooner rather later. All does not appear to be as
rosy in the ACIM garden as I thought and I would just like to more aware of
where the thorns are.<<
?
(LOL) the thorns are everywhere. Especially in one's own mind. If you
are looking for a rose garden, with no thorns, then this path is not it. This is
a Course in undoing the blocks to love's awareness, as it tells us in the very
Introduction. And in order to undo them, you have to first look at them. Those
damn thorns. :-)
?
The Course is also highly individualized. So for some people they may
feel the need to join a group. Yet even in a group, everyone still has to do
their own internal work.?
?
No one can tell you whether this is the right path for you. As we are
told in the Manual. (M.1-4)
?
"This is a manual for a curriculum, intended for teachers of a
special form of the universal course. There are many thousands of other forms,
all with the same outcome."
?
The whole point of the Course is to finally realize the God's Son is
innocent. And we are all included in the Sonship.
