Re: L4B vernier drive
Hi Mark, Thanks for sharing the file. Undecided if I'll try the repair. Seems as though I got things a bit tight when I worked on the plate cap a few years back. Loosening the tension nut and screw

Re: TR7 Getting ready to sell. But have to deal with the dastardly DR7 board again. I thought.
Did you notice that four pin connector layout was designed to be impossible to accidentally reverse the polarity? It plugs in either way with the correct connections. It's a little subtlety that I

Thanks Bob, I do have an RV-75. It is the roughest of all in condition. Untested by me. But probably the only one I would sell stand alone. Will advise. 73 Bill W4WCS

Re: L4B vernier drive
Stan, If I remember correctly, I ran into the same problem a couple of times. ?Soldered a piece of brass tubing from the True Value hardware store and it worked fine. 73, Evan, K9SQG

There's a four-pin connector for power on that board. Only two of the pins are used. But power and ground are also brought to the other - unused - pins. I got a new connector, and wired up all four

Re: L4B vernier drive
Hi Jim, Loosening the tension nut seems to have helped a lot.? Think I'll leave it where it is now. May get around to replacing the red and amber panel lamps tomorrow. 73 Stan KM4HQE

Re: TR7 Getting ready to sell. But have to deal with the dastardly DR7 board again. I thought.
Bill, check the wires going into the crimp. If this connector has been moved a lot, you may have one conductor that's breaking from the crimp. If that's not the case, try the DeOxIt. 73, Steve Wedge,

Re: TR7 Getting ready to sell. But have to deal with the dastardly DR7 board again. I thought.
It is most likely some of the deoxit will work on those connectors as well. I found some very small brushes at Harbor Freight near me. I think they are used for cleaning spray paint nozzles so you

I added a few comments to the OpenSCAD source code and tidied up the file a bit. New versions have been uploaded. I also renamed them to mn4c-rangeswitch.{scad,stl,gcode}. --lyndon
