Seems as though I got things a bit tight when I worked on the plate
cap a few years back.? Loosening the tension nut and screw has made
things a lot better.? Vernier works well except for a small portion
of the 75 meter band on the scale. Everywhere else the vernier works
fine.
I decided to go ahead and replace the incandescent lamps while I had
the amp apart.? After 40+ years, they have to be getting tired...?
Just need to solder the leads to the terminal strip.? Looks like
tomorrow before I finish this project since I've been watching
college football.
