Re: TR7 volume knob / AF gain
That is very common in the TR7. The reason is that the pot does not go to zero ohms until the off position is reached. Later versions seemed to overcome this, likely by a change in the pot. Gary W0DVN

Re: TR7 volume knob / AF gain
yes...but i don¡¯t know if it¡¯s normal. actually, with a hard to read signal (perhaps it¡¯s psychological), i can copy better with the volume all the way down. go figure... joseph n. graif

Re: Good Day All
These are just canoe anchors. A DX100 or a T368 is indeed a boat anchor! :-) Enjoy your Drake! 73 John K5MO jgraif1@...> wrote:

Re: Looking For Friction Sleeves for PTO
I would space from the circlip using 1/4¡± ID flat washers as needed. Avoiding the front panel is a must! Moving the circlip risks breaking it ¡ª they¡¯re pretty brittle but you could try moving it

I figured it out. I thought the C clip was in a grove on the shaft. Its not. I simply moved the C clip out a bit and the wave washer scheme works just fine now. Thanks for the tip! This was an eBay

Thanks. I guess I need another washer between the C clip and the wave washer. The wave washer is not "thick" enough to put pressure on the back of the KHz dial. It just flops around. And it also hits
