Has anyone done something like this with an early TR7 product detector? I'm aware of the MC1496 mod, just considering an alternative.

If anyone is installing a Sherwood style product detector mod in an R-4B, my instructions might be helpful.
I cut one trace on the Drake pcb instead of removing a bunch of components from it. The R-4B has a perfect place to mount it too.
This was for my designed pcb but is probably applicable to Rob's board too.
