The purpose of this listserv is to share questions, information, resources and lessons learned relevant to helping local governments pursue a energy and climate opportunities available to DACs. The State of California has dedicated significant investment in energy and climate opportunities for “disadvantaged communities” (DACs), which suffer from economic, health, and environmental burdens. However, local governments representing DACs may lack the internal capacity to track applicable policies, data, funding, and technical assistance opportunities. This listserv is aimed at helping local governments that serve DAC census tracts better navigate the big dollar world of DACs to meet their energy and climate goals.
