Digital Data setup problem 2
Good Morning! I have been trying to setup my ID1 with a MikroTik RB 750 router, with some limited success. I am using a win 7 machine, the router is plugged in to the only ethernet port on the machine, according to device manager the drivers are installed and the router is listed as a network adapter. If I rotate the VFO I can see the router port 1 indicator light go off and on so it is seeing the radio, if I close the connection in network and sharing, the port 2 indicator light for the connection goes out, so it is seeing the computer. I have tried using my DSTAR IP address and the correct subnet and dns information. The DHCP shows to be correct and is enabled. I am unable to access the radio with DRATS or to get out to the web. The router is not wifi capable so that is not an option, the cables are as short as possible (direct to the radio) and a new 3 ft cat 6. Any ideas or thoughts would be of great help as I have tried all I know at this point. Thanks in Advance Al KF5SMH

The ThumbDV? is a thumb or dongle type DV device for connection to a computer (PC, Laptop, Tablet, Raspberry Pi, Odroid, etc.) to provide access to AMBE encoding and decoding. It is the more portable of the two devices in that you can plug it into any USB (2.0 or greater) port on a computer and access it as a serial port via appropriate software to get in the D-STAR system. ThumbDV? - DV3000U The DV3000 is designed to use the GPIO UART pins on a Raspberry Pi (including Raspberry Pi 2 and compatible devices such as the Odroid C1) to provide access to AMBE encoding and decoding. It can be adapted to other similar devices using jumper wires to connect the UART, but only maps to Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. DV3000 - GPIO Attached From a software point of view they are equivalent and are accessed as serial ports (COMx under Windows, tty? under Linux/Mac OS X, UDRx) at 230.4 kbps. Software for using these devices included G4KLX's DummyRepeater, DUTCH*Star's Node DV (WinDV), and modified versiona of DSD (developers have modified for use with the ThumbDV?/DV3000 for monitoring DMR, Fusion, P25 Phase 2, etc. -- contact the developers for more information). Visit the resource page for additional information.
