As suggested in a previous thread on this group, I removed Prolific Driver 3.8.43.0 dated May 29, 2024 and installed Prolific Driver version 3.2..0.0 dated July 31, 2007 on ?a Windows 10 32 bit machine.

The CHIRP cloning procedure now functions properly. ?Yeah.
