Hi all, I just joined the group. ?Earlier today I used Chirp for the first time and after a few fits and starts I managed to get a repeater list onto my TH-F6A. ?First problem I had was not realizing that I had to change a menu setting on the radio so the spk/mic jacks would ¡°talk¡± to a computer. ?Next I found out the hard way that after editing my repeater list I should¡¯ve deleted all the blank lines in the.csv file. ?Ok, so now I have repeaters in my radio and it scans just fine. ?But when it stops on an active channel I see the repeater call sign. ?I would rather see the repeater frequency. ?Can anyone provide advice as to how to make that change? ?Thanks, Lisa ?
If you want to see a frequency instead of a name, you simply don't program a name. If you want to have it both ways, then you must program 2 channels (one with a name, one without a name).
