Wild guess but the inverter transformer from a different CDV700 may also work( you will have to experiment with the phasing of the leads to get it to oscillate)
The inverter portion is pretty similar between teh CFDV700 variants
Just look for another CDV700 that uses 3V for the inverter section, it should work.
