new transformer - got to buzzing, got at least some HV going - up to 500V
expected 15V is low at 5.7V measured between C1 (-) and meter.??
V2 base is high:? expected 0.05V, measured 0.7
V2 collector is low;? expected 15V, measured very low (didn't write it down)
V3 Base and collector:? expected 0.05V,? measured high on both.? Replaced V3 with another Russian, same.?
Replaced CR4 to address low 15V - same still low.??
even though getting some HV to the tube socket, no activity from the known good tube.??
no clicking from speaker.?
meter goes to position on dial as soon as you turn it on and sits there - depends on which range setting.??
replaced all the components except switch, Module A.??
Before doing anything - powered on the ENI as received,? got screeching through speaker at different range settings,? could hear clicks in speaker with probe against check source, meter pegged to the far right of dial.? ??
