removing tri-lobed plastic cover from secondary

charles genovese All Messages By This Member #15025 Hi guys- have a post 2008 C14 with the tri-lobed rotating plastic alignment screw cover and just replaced the terrible phillips screws with Bob's knobs (actually the allen screws on the older ones were the best) the cover interferes with getting your fingers around the knobs. How to remove it? I thought it would just pop off but nooooo. Thanks Charles

I gently drilled through the center with my Dremel and the central screw for the secondary is under it. I am going to have to use my 3" grinder cutting wheel and cut it in half to remove it .
