Looks like the SD 70 Acu’s they are often laid up for repairs/in shop according to Luc’s and thus it seems as though they are not very reliable? But could be just my impression. Any thoughts?

Heard on Facebook that CP Rail or CPKC is scrapping the remaining ex UP SD9043MACs they have on the roster, at first it was thought that they rebuild those into SD70ACUs. If CP Rails wants more 70ACUs then they could go for PRLX ex NS SD70ACUs which should
still exist at Raceland KY. It be interesting when traffic rises on the CPKC and they’ll need more locomotives?
