Heard on Facebook that CP Rail or CPKC is scrapping the remaining ex UP SD9043MACs they have on the roster, at first it was thought that they rebuild those into SD70ACUs. If CP Rails wants more 70ACUs then they could go for PRLX ex NS SD70ACUs which should still exist at Raceland KY. It be interesting when traffic rises on the CPKC and they’ll need more locomotives?
