The Shuswap
Sub was closed for 24 hour . Rail traffic is flowing again . There is a “ Work
Block “ between mile 80, Notch Hill and Mile 94, Chase where trains are given ‘
Joint Authority with” the on shift Foreman. Yesterday, WB trains were stopped a
Salmon Arm here they checked in with the RTC, who checked with the Fire
Conditions. If things were clear, The train was highballed Up the North Track
and through to Chase. If a issue arose, The Train was stopped , reversed Back to
Salmon Arm where the crew would Tie the train down and await a taxi.In short
Fire conditions dictate train movement. CP Has two Fire Suppression trains
working in the area. One stationed in Revolstoke, one in Kamloops. Each train
worked the area for around 12 hours then switch off the other train at returned
to the start places To get a better sense of the traffic flow, You can
review the traffic log, of Google sheets , being kept by folks from the VR
Revolstoke Chat group . ;
