Normally loaded coal trains operate 2 head end and one mid train slave
AC4400's (west of Golden, B.C.) in the 9500 or 9600 series. Perhaps
someone can correct this information for trains on the Windemere sub
(south of Golden)
Same train, same power. All they do in Golden is change crews, fuel (if necessary), switch some cars (if necessary) and go. SD40-2's have not been used in this service since AC4400CW's arrived.
