Re: New Decals from Black Cat

Mike Salfi

Very interesting news and I have one question regarding said decals per a
recent discussion on the color of lettering on CPR passenger cars in the
1950's:
Would Dulux Gold be Gold or Imitation Gold, or better put, would Dulux Gold
be the color of lettering used by the CPR prior to 1935 or after 1935?

Thanks,

Black Cat Publishing now has the decals for that CP passenger car that
you're painting. The following decal sets are now available:
CPR 2200 coach in Dulux Gold includes lettering for 6600 buffet-parlor cars.
CPR 4700 baggage/express/mail in Dulux gold or gold leaf. This set will do
any headend or combine car.
CPR Grove sleeper in Dulux gold.
CPR A class dining car in Dulux gold or gold leaf. Has the names for all A
class dining cars.
CPR N class sleeping car in Dulux gold or gold leaf. Has the names for all N
class sleeping cars.
CPR T class sleeping car in Dulux gold. Has the names for all T class
sleeping cars.
All of the above include lettering for the ends, trucks, and underside of
the cars as well as our usual extra car numbers and train numbers. Price $3
each plus $1 S&H per order. See our decals on an A class diner by John
Morris at the CRM booth at the Toronto Train Show to see what you've been
leaving off your models.
