Re: CP 4104 Fairbanks Morse "C" Liner Whereabouts

Trevor Sokolan

The c liner at ogden along with the H liner are privatly owned and are stored at Ogden. I spoke with a shop worker a few months ago and he told me that the owner of the 2 FM/CLC products occasionally makes use of space in the ogden shops to work on his "full scale models". He does not use CPR employees, but is his own backyard mechanic. The 2 ex BCR C Liner B units are apparenty stored somewhere in Calgary and may be cosmetically restored.

C Liners 4064 and 4065 were the Demo units for CLC, 4064 was originally
lettered City of Kingston while in it's demo stage. Unit 4064 was retired
from service in February 16, 1972, and scrapped at Ogden shops.
