I saw last night in Gatineau, Qc QGRY GP40 #105 painted orange and black
with the QGRY logo. There is more GP40 units to come from either their
existing units (GP35's or 38's)or from their sister (G&W)in the state.
They will convert these units to GP40 specifications. i like the sound
of those GP40's.

Hello
Qu?bec-Gatineau Rwy (Former CP north shore lines between Qu?bec, Montr?al
and Gatineau) has received a new locomotive #105 to replace one of its
wrecked GP35E (2500, 2502, 2503). The CP tracing system indicates it was
delivered to St-Luc yard by CP on February 24th, and then probably was
probably put on a transfer run to QGRY's Outremont yard later that night.
Has anyone seen this unit while it was delivered? Could it possibly be HATX
GP38 105 (ex-CSX)? Was it painted in orange and black or still in Helm or
CSX colors? Is it a temporary lease or a permanent purchase?
Thanks
JF
