Jason

I have been using my uBITX with no modification at all.?
I have not found yet a problem with the both settings.?
Maybe it's a bug I could not think of.

CW TX->RX Delay only sets the value so that it can be switched to RX when all CW transmissions are finished. Normally, it should be over 500.
And I have found a bug that is separate from this problem. The 'CW Start Delay' was not reflected in the new CW Key logic.?so, the CW Start Delay value in version 1.01 does not affect CW key operation.
This will be corrected now and will be included in version 1.02.

Could you tell me more about the meaning of "extra" in your message?

Good morning Ian,

With the CW TX->RX Delay set low 0-140 the extra dit/dah is random, with it set higher it becomes more pronounced. At the default 600, it would give an extra dit/dah after every release of the paddle. I have not made any modifications to the radio, just added the resistors inside my paddle and moved the dah wire to the dit side of the jack (internal to the paddle).

I'm no CW wiz, just a guy testing out his radio to make sure everything is working.?

Jason.

Find the problem together.??So far there has been no report on this issue.
Regardless of the setting of TX-> RX Delay, it seems that wrong keys have been input.

So I would like to ask you once more.

Can you check the value for A6 in the ADC Monitoering menu?
When the key is not pressed,
When you hold down Dot,
When you hold down Dash.

Please let me know the above ADC results.
If the values change while you hold down the key, please let us know the range.

This is my second request.
Please take a look at your CW Key ADC Range using uBITX Manager.

This is your third request.
Please let us know what happens when you upload the original firmware.

I think this problem will appear the same in any CW settings.?At first I understood the 'extra' you said, but I understand now.

Hi Ian,
?So what is the latest version of firmware? I down loaded 1.01 and installed it via Xloader, however when i turn on the uBITX it shows 1.00 on the display. Now I notice there is a version 1.02. Where do i get the latest greatest version? Thanks for doing this.

Joel
I am very grateful for you to continue to use it since the initial version.
Philip's answer is right.

Please check the file name as shown below.

At boot time, the message will be displayed as 1.01.

And 1.02 is a minor change, so it is still before release.
You can download the source before releasing it, but you do not need to.

THanks,.

I found it... thanks.

Wait. I'll merge it to 1.02. Download it for 5 minutes.

I have coded too much, so I do not have enough space.
Please speak if you need more space for the program. I will exclude some features.

Hi Ian,
Yes, I did run out of space. I removed some code for the default HAM BANDS and that allowed me to include the extra for the I2C lCD and TPA2016...
We need to test the hardware hack for the voltage meter for EPROM saving on poweroff then reduce the code more... lots to do...
Great work from you so far, well done on an excellent version of the FW for the uBITX.

Hi again.
I think also the hardware hack version can save space by moving the keyers to dedicated digital pins freed up from the LCD to I2C mod. we can then remove all the analog input calibration code...

Nik

I also tried to erase it first.
I wish your project a success.
