sBITX Displayed Power and VSWR

I have a question about the sBITX V3.
When I transmit it shows the power in watts and the VSWR.?
Are those calibrated and correct??

If you read through??you will find they are calibrated as a part of the factory's procedures.

As for correctness that page suggests the standard is not super-precise, on the order of ten percent at full power output.

That page includes the procedures for calibration, so a person with their own equipment can do their own calibration, compare to more accurate wattmeters, etc.

As for me, I just go with what it says because a person with two meters needs a third...

For me, the VSWR displayed?is always zero. ??

From v3 boarss onwards, there is no need to calibrate. Please do not attempt to do it!
The calibration was required when we were using the IRF24ZN, after moving to IRF510 as the PA transistors, the gain doesn't vary by more than 1dB from the expected values across the production line.
At times, you may have to manually edit user_settings.ini to set the meter calibration. Try either 70 or 100 settings.

Roy,
One of the two diodes is probably faulty, so it cannot measure a reflected signal.
If you want to fix it, get a 1N63 or 1N60 and measure it for the same opening voltage if you are a maximalist.
The side wall on the side of the BNC connector must be removed and the connecting wires disconnected,
then the two diodes will be easily accessible for soldering.
If you take out the diodes, you can measure them individually.
These are Ge diodes. Don't ask how I know.

You must replace both diodes at the same time to make sure the diodes have the same characteristics…

Well ok. ?Thanks to both for the helpful guidance on the diodes. ?

This is the do-it-yourself movement.

@Gyula.

I completely understand the message. I just don't understand why the assembled V3 is touted as having a warranty and not getting a response from the manufacturer when there could be a hardware or software issue. My 30 day warranty will expire soon so I am left to resolve the issue myself? I am more than capable of resolving the issue on my own, however my SWR issue is a matter of principle at this point to hold the manufacturer accountable. I simply want the warranty support I paid for.

@W9JES
I completely agree with you.
I only see the practice developed here, when someone needs help, then contact the forum.
When I noticed in May that I had the same problem, I didn't even try to contact support.
I knew I had to solve it myself, even though I also transferred $429, which was that much without rpi.
Unfortunately, they do not want to let go of this bad practice.
