From v3 boarss onwards, there is no need to calibrate. Please do not attempt to do it!
The calibration was required when we were using the IRF24ZN, after moving to IRF510 as the PA transistors, the gain doesn't vary by more than 1dB from the expected values across the production line.
At times, you may have to manually edit user_settings.ini to set the meter calibration. Try either 70 or 100 settings.

If you read through??you will find they are calibrated as a part of the factory's procedures.
As for correctness that page suggests the standard is not super-precise, on the order of ten percent at full power output.
That page includes the procedures for calibration, so a person with their own equipment can do their own calibration, compare to more accurate wattmeters, etc.
As for me, I just go with what it says because a person with two meters needs a third...
