Dumb question; have you verified 12 volts to the final. I'll be testing while hooked via USB to my computer and forget to turn on the power supply. A mind is a terrible thing to lose but I'm becoming

LED bargraph mWattmeter ......Very useful for a uBITX or BITX40.
I'm off looking at a very inexpensive standalone LED bargraph mWattmeter with a 25W to 25mW (30dB) range using the cheap AD8307s, but there are apparently MANY MANY different implementations and

ND6T AGC and Click kit wiring notes
Decided to expand the title a little since I'm sure there will be more questions for Don, ND6T, on his designs.
Uploaded some pictures to the "Photos" section showing one alternative for AGC board

Here's my summary of issues around that 45mhz IF, correct me where I am wrong.

Looking at the internal networks of several popular audio IC devices can
reveal a
number of techniques to make stacked output devices more linear. The
datasheet
for an LM368 is a good

Also, Arv: This will work but only if a small 'trickle' of + at input base produces a transition towards - at the output emitters.

Re: uBitx V4 linearity mod in final audio amplifier

Oh how little Audio experience here! Any real Hi-fi amps using comp-sym pair will have a low resistance (1 down to even below 0.1 ohms) in each emitter, and a bit of extra resistance between bases

Good Morning,
I am too novice - thus afraid to try and load a different firmware - but I read the code of the Ver. 4 Firmware and it?is different, the V3 program seems much easier to work with -

Thanks for the reply's guys. That is what I was afraid of. Personally, I had no problems with the FCI TDA2282M chip that was on my board, it worked flawlessly and didn't heat up excessively even at

I didn't address anything but the audio as I don't use the original Raduinos on any of my uBITX builds but I believe Farhan said it would work. The V4 board has the Raduino built with the NANO on the

I know Farhan said it had enough audio to drive a small speaker, but I have not found this to be the case. Mine will drive the pants off of a pair of 32 ohm headphones (only set I have with a 1/8"

Re: I'm really stuck! No Xmit Pwr.

First are you testing in SSB or CW?
IF CW you should see power with keydown.
IF SSB you will see nearly nothing (microwatts) without audio input.? Are you putting audio in?
First places to look,

Re: Stray RF?
Could be RF getting into it. Does it happen on a dummy load?
The others are ground loop, poor grounding and cross talk between the leads.
