Ubitx v4 transmitting moves pll on 10m
I can't think how to search for any prior hits. Only on 10m ssb, just on a few frequencies, I call a station. He hears me but when I transmit again the menu comes up for a band change, and the rig had

Re: ESP32 for uBitx v6 #firmware #raduino #ubitxv6 #v6
Hi Ramon, I have mine up and running but I am getting quite a lot of "chop" on the audio from the display, obviously because it is refreshing something on the screen, if I go into one of the config

Re: ESP32 for uBitx v6 #firmware #raduino #ubitxv6 #v6
Hi Max, The PTT is the "TX" button. Regarding audio, I have developed an independent system that allows two-way audio sending and receiving. The system consists on the radio side of an ESP32, an I2S

Re: ESP32 for uBitx v6 #firmware #raduino #ubitxv6 #v6
I take it that you wrote the program running on the ESP32? What about two way audio and PTT? Max KG4PID

Re: ESP32 for uBitx v6 #firmware #raduino #ubitxv6 #v6
Hi Max, The firmware on the ESP32 includes several servers at IP address 192.168.1.149: - A FTP server on port 21. - A TCP server on port 84. - An HTTP server on port 88. The program on the PC opens a

Re: low audio (perhaps?) uBitx v6 - advice please #audiocircuit #v6
I did and while I don't know exactly what they should be (and too lazy atm to calculate) but all voltages around Q10/11/12 looked reasonable for npn transistors - good idea t check the Q30 etc group -

Check R18/R38 and see you get voltage at the Q10/Q30 collector. Raj

Re: low audio (perhaps?) uBitx v6 - advice please #audiocircuit #v6
See how your audio is with headphones. With a full size 40 meter dipole, loud broadcast signals on high end of band should blast your ears. For weak signals, even with audio agc, we must crank up the

Re: low audio (perhaps?) uBitx v6 - advice please #audiocircuit #v6
mlucia, Have you replaced the Nano when you did the firmware upgrade?? If so, then all of the calibration data is on the original Nano.? You will need to redo the calibration per Ashhar Farhan's

low audio (perhaps?) uBitx v6 - advice please #audiocircuit #v6
I've read everything I could find in this group about low audio, and frankly don't know if what I am seeing is truly a problem or not. Let me elaborate please.... With the original raduino and

Re: Re-using A6 (Pin 2 - Blue) (and pin 5 A3!)
answering myself - it worked removing the R2 and cutting the 17 and 18 to the radio. ; )

Re: Re-using A6 (Pin 2 - Blue) (and pin 5 A3!)
If I just remove R2 in the raduino and cut the connections 17 and 18 to the radio, it should be fine, right?

Re: Re-using A6 (Pin 2 - Blue) (and pin 5 A3!)
btw, same applies to * Pin 5 (Orange), A3, PTT should I disconnect anything from the ubitx, in order not to throw 5V to the mic input jack when I set the pin to 5V (connected to a computer)? Thanks,

Re-using A6 (Pin 2 - Blue)
Hi everybody, I want to use A6 (Pin 2 / Blue) of the ubitx v6 header, but I realized there is a voltage in there, as it is originally used for the CW keyer. All the other pins I'm already using for
