Check R18/R38 and see you get voltage at the Q10/Q30 collector.

I've read everything I could find in this group about low audio, and frankly don't know if what I am seeing is truly a problem or not. Let me elaborate please....
With the original raduino and firmware and the volume at about half way, I can barely hear cw signals in cw mode, yet the side tone is much louder.
Also, I put in one of the ND6T AGC boards from kit-projects and have never seen any agc action even measuring with a DVM. I am using on-the-air signals as I don't have a signal generator - yet
Using Ashhar's wire probe trick for troubleshooting I get good response (not quite as loud as it appears to be in Ashhar's video, but that is not a real measure) from the antenna all the way to the base of Q10 in the if-amp. It drops to nearly zero at the collector and/or the emitted of Q12. This makes no sense to me as the noise is much higher "before" the if amp so it is clear that the amp (or something else) is passing the signal. I did a quick voltage check on the 3 transistors in the if amp any nothing looked weird.
I know others have simply used PC speakers to get the audio to a better level, which also works for me.
Do I have a problem or is all of this normal?
