Re: raduino_v1.08 released
First I really like the newest version, saving the mode is a big plus in my opinion. As long as we are discussing writing frequencies to memory, from my viewpoint I don't see the purpose of writing it

Re: Interesting observation of the power levels of the Si5351A, reversed?
I looked at the output of the Synthesizer today where it enters the Bitx board with a scope and on mine the output went up as the current increased. I didn't measure anything exactly but it appeared

No other receiver is available :( and the static only gets louder during sweeping no tone. just static and louder static.

Re: BitX 40 issues
Hi,
Break up your trouble shooting (Simplify). Dis-Connect Xmit DC Connector and just get receiver going. Dis-connect mic and ptt.
Put the speaker connector directly to a speaker or headphones.

Re: Interesting observation of the power levels of the Si5351A, reversed?
It seems to me that the CLK output is set in mA - the following stage
being a high-impedance (common emitter) buffer, so CLK output changes in
current might not be reflected in the voltage without a

Re: raduino_v1.08 released
Thanks Cory,
that's a good idea that we can easily implement. It will help to reduce
the number of unnecessary write cycles.
I'll put this one on my list!

I have also fiddled around with si5351 power output levels with unconvincing results. I am.not able to access my gear for afree days, can anyone else verify this?

Re: raduino_v1.08 released
If the frequency hasn't changed for 10 or 20 secs then save it.
Would prevent writing to eeprom while tuning around.

Re: raduino_v1.08 released
I agree with Jerry's point to keep it simple.
For now I'll stick to the current concept but increase the write interval
to 30 seconds.
We can always add extra features such as "favourite frequencies"
