Re: zBitx DOA
I watched the video you made.
I would try some things.
You should know that the USB cable to the CAT connector only powers the screen, not the raspberry pi. Therefore, it will never turn on.
I would

Ben,
Can you confirm that the drive is set to 100? Are you transmitting FT8 from the native application or are you using a third party program like JTDX? Can you please confirm the input voltage and

Re: sbitx v3 no output after upgrading to 64bit
Did you copy the contents of the /sbitx/data folder from the 32-bit uSD to the same location on the 64-bit OS?
This requires an intermediary USB stick, to which you copy from the 32-bit, and then copy

Re: Zbitx 9vdc
They work.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it will only deliver a certain amount of watts...
I think they claim 3A, which is at 5V

Re: Zbitx 9vdc
I actually prefer step up rather than step down because worse case senario if there's a short, I'd only be putting 5vdc on the output not 12vdc.
The bioenno BPS that I have (discontinued) has 12v and

zBitX ft8 TX signal comes speaker
I got my zBitX this evening.
Got it on my wifi to sync the time.
I can see ?ft8 decodes. If I TX the sound comes out of the speaker instead of going to the radio. Zero output on a watt meter so no RF

Re: Zbitx 9vdc
I use two types of battery power. I use Power Delivery (or PPS) from a PD

Re: Zbitx 9vdc
Actually my plan would be to use this adapter with either a 5v phone
charging power pack that outputs 5v @ 1.5A or my bioennno BPS-120 that has
a 5v USB-A output port that will do 5v @ 2A and not with
