I will not be using 18650 cells.? I bought an adjustable buck
converter with a 3 amp output rating.? Cost me $8.00 Canadian.? I
will be using this with a 4 cell 9 amp-hour LiFePO4 battery when
out in the field.? The battery is a bit on the big side when
compared to two 18650 cells, but it will run the radio quite a bit
longer on a charge, and it's safer to charge.

Actually my plan would be to use this adapter with
either a 5v phone charging power pack that outputs 5v @ 1.5A or
my bioennno BPS-120 that has a 5v USB-A output port that will do
5v @ 2A and not with a PC USB-A port.
Just trying to get away from using the 18350's.

Very likely it won't since it's not an actual
USB-C with PD. It's just boosting a regular USB port to 9v
and a regular?USB can only supply 500mahttp://
