Jonathan
Nice work getting used to a nice spectrum analyzer. And doing some calculations. Keep in mind the bandwidth at the receive output is about 3 kHz.
I suggest starting near the back of

Re: Only noise when connected to the antenna

Here is a capture of the (de)modulator from the spectrum analyzer. I Injected a 14 MHz sine at -60 dBm. On the uBitx v6 schematic this would be at TP20.
Again, turning on or off the function generator

Re: Only noise when connected to the antenna

Re: No RX LED indication

I assume you've checked carefully for solder bridges on those connections. There's very little room, and no dedicated thru-holes for those connections.
Are you open to an off-the-wall suggestion?

Hi Joel,
Yes they are. That is all we are selling now. However if all you want to do is add a Teensy 4.0, the adapter fits the Factory's Raduino just fine. If you need a replacement or want a spare

Re: New to BITX,simple questions
The short answer is no, unless the discone you have can work down to 28 MHz, as that is the hugest band? that the ubitx can operate on.
Note:? You do need an amateur radio license for this radio,

Russ,
You are finding out what a lot of us are finding, that the volume needs to wide open to hear anything. I am going to install a preamp to the audio section and will report back as to how it

Hi Evan,
I used a 5 watt amp, ( the one included in Sunils case), hooked directly to the output of my V4 and it works great, plenty of audio. I have used a lot of LM386's in my day and they are
