You are finding out what a lot of us are finding, that the volume needs to wide open to hear anything. I am going to install a preamp to the audio section and will report back as to how it works. Another thing I have found is the speaker included with the Full V6 kit is very inefficient and sucks every milliwatt of audio from the LM386. I don't have any that fit the bolt pattern of the one provided in the case, but plugging a different speaker into the front earphone jack yields a lot more audio.
