D18 is ok ! about 12V on both sides ( Diff 0.6V )
but it looks like I was to sleepy when tested Voltage on LM386 yesterday evening

pin 1 : ? ? ? ? ? ? ?1.37 V
PIN : 2, 3 and 4 0 V
Pin 5: ? ? ? ? ? ? ?4,7 V
Pin 6 : ? ? ? ? ? 10,8V
Pin 7 : ? ? ? ? ? ?5,6 V
Pin 8 : ? ? ? ? ? ?1.34 V

Re: blown LM 386 ?

perhaps one needs to replace with 1 amp diode? - preferably one like 1N5819 and manage to park it on the smd board

Re: Bitx40 no RX

What power voltage are you using?? The BITX does not like more than 13.4V.

Re: Bitx 40

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

There isn't, at least not for the BITX40.

Re: AGC Boards

Thanks! DuWayne good stuff.

Anyone that wanted a board like the red one posted above I did reorder more and will again offer at cost. The last price was best guess from just an envelope and a stamp so pending no crazy stuff at the Post Office price will remain the same. Please keep in mind I am not a store so hold all requests until the new batch is posted. They will be like the red ones above and not the updated silk like DuWayne posted.

?Should be about 2 weeks

Re: AGC Boards

I did this board layout after the AGC mod first came out. ?They were just for me, so I did not bother with parts layout.
Seeing the interest after David offered up his extra boards, I updated the files and added a parts layout PDF to the dropbox files at
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pg3otf9cwtekkoo/AADGvAfmP_E96njuNP5UX_Y9a?dl=0
I also uploaded this as a shared project at OSHPark.com . ?Boards can be ordered from them, and I know they will ship to DX.
Their price is about $12 for 3 boards including shipping to the US. ?Don't have any idea what shipping to a DX location would be.

Re: Re[Bitx20] Spare Raduino Boards and PCBs

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I also have a Complete Raduino Board I designed.? It has lots of features better than original.

RaduinoX

*I2C connector for controlling more I2C, like another SI5350 or I2C LCD.

*Spare I/O pins brought out.? D0 and D1 too!

*Rotary Encoder Connector with Pull-ups and De-Bounce Caps, makes it a lot easier to go Rotary.

*Much better PS conditioning.

*Nano mounts in Sockets and on Back for easy removal.

*USB faces to edge of box side.

*Contrast Pot accessible.

*All Arduino outputs brought out to connectors.

*Level Shift? for SI part to operate per specification.

*Completely compatible to Original Raduino .? Fits LCD perfectly.

Here is a Picture of RaduinoX.

Bare PCBs are $9, shipping included.

I will ship them to US (48 St.) USPO with Nano $38 without $34.? I have been bit on Paypal charges, so $2 for paypal.

I have several built and tested.? Privite email me if you are interested.? "MotDog at Verizon dot net".

Bare PCBs are $9, shipping included.

Re: Still Not Working

Well guys, things just took a turn for the worse. In an effort to see if RV1 and R136 made a difference before I got in and took some voltage reading and plotted them on the voltage reading chart I put my QRP power meter on the Bitx and started to adjust both of these pots. I had the QRP meter connected to my Fluke meter like I do on a nearly daily basis with my FT-817 while I'm adjusting the power down to 200mW for WSPR using the SignaLink. I was using a Spectrol insulated screwdriver. Neither pot seemed to make a difference.?

When I looked down at the display I noticed that the top row of the display had solid black blocks. Nothing that I did inside the radio was shorted out by me. I cycled the power a few times and the blocks didn't go away. I disconnected the power supply and plugged in the Arduino to my laptop. The laptop no longer communicates to the Raduino.?

The only differnce was that I used my 13.8v Samlex power supply instead of the 12v wall wort that I had been using. The power supply was turned on first, the radio was plugged in and then turned on. It's not like I had the radio on and then turned on the power supply.?

So I'm at a turning point. I have a defective board and now what appears to be a defective Radrio. I either cut me losses or buy a new kit. Buying a new won't break me but spending more money with these guys is the struggle.?

The anount of equipment that I've worked on in my line of work would be mind boggling to most. I've really never had one product that gave me this many problems. I'm sure many people will think "you had to do something for this to happen". I don't see it that way.?

I'm not going to start another rant. Surely I can't be the only person that's had this type of experience. I'll leave it at that.?
