I have no clicks from my Raduino at all, even with the vol all the way up and the antenna disconnected I cannot hear any clicks while tuning. Strange that some do.

Re: increase frequency coverage

Did you received a schematic with your kit? Can you post it? Is it the same schematic as the version with Raduino only using the coil?

I will need the information to calculate new values for capacitors required for your desired frequency coverage.

Re: wiring up the 3.5 mm jack

Rich,

What I have to do every time Is to take a stereo plug that has not been used yet and plug it into the jack, then check each pin for continuity between the two and which pin of the jack goes to the tip, sleeve, and ring of the plug. The leftover two pins are not used and are closed circuits pins, (like when you want the audio to come out a internal speaker until you plug in the plug).

Re: wiring up the 3.5 mm jack

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I did a google and found a pin out that matched the pin lay out

Pin 1 - common

Pin 2 ?left audio to radio side

Pin 3 left audio to receiver?

Pin 4 right audio to receiver

Pin 5 audio to radio side

All that said - not sure if that maps to the jack in the kit

Best I could find so far

What type of jack do you have on your headset? 3 contacts or 4 contacts?

Can you get a diagram of your headset connections to the jack?

Like others have said reprogram the Raduino to cycle through a list a frequencies but if you want to keep it analog, have a multi-pole switch connected in place of the tuning pot that switches amongst 5 different potentiometers set to each frequency you want.
