Art,

Usually the tip of the plug is the headphones, the sleeve, (the middle ring), is the mic, and the ring or the body of the plug is ground that is common to both, but I don't know how yours is wired. ?If it doesn't work one way, switch the the tip and sleeve wires, the ground remains where it is. It's easy to do but hard to explain.

No ptt. I installed a separate button for ptt. Connector on end of cable is a stereo 3.5 mm. Built-in mic is electret on a small boom extending from the headset. I have a second?
Bitx that I modified the fist set for mic and ptt and that works great. Separate speaker though. Any help appreciated?

Art,

The individual mic and speaker connections are easy just follow this guide,?

However, if you're asking how to wire up your headset we would need more information regarding the plug on it and whether it has PTT capabilities or not.

Hello

looking for some help on how to wire up mic and earphone/speaker to Bitx40 using the 3.5 mm audio jacks it comes with. Do I use one for mic and the other earphone(headset)/speaker. I have a headset that has earphones and mic on one cable. Appreciate anyone response and help.
