I am using cairo api. I just wrote a few routines to display text and draw rectangles. I use those in turn to draw the controls, etc. The code is on

Farhan,

I know you might have answered this before, but what graphics API are you using to fill the framebuffer for the display.

While eagerly waiting for the official sbitx, I am thinking on using a Pi as controller for my IC7300 and using X Windows can be a drag.

Re: Power supply for Ubitx

Hello,

That would be too simple.
My good old 50-year-old controller has 21 volts out of the rectifier bridge.
I will look more on my audio amplifier mount, which is completely different from the LM386.
Can be a bad decoupling

Re: Power supply for Ubitx

Gerard, your transformer maybe under powered. The unregulated voltage should be at least 3v over 12, ie 15v for the regulator to work properly.

Power supply for Ubitx

Hello,

I tested different power supplies for my Ubitx Homebrew.
I¡¯ve eliminated switching power supplies because they¡¯re too noisy.
I tested a power supply of my design, but the audio amp also gives 50 htz noise.??
I tested a power supply bought on E...Y based with a LM338K, less noisy but there is still some snoring 50htz.??
Have you tested this type of filter in power output, or to put on the power line of the audio circuit. (Can be in 60htz at home?) like this??
or other solutions?

offtopic: wsjtx-x udp reader in simple c

Peeps,
I have been hacking away at adding features to the sbitx. I decided to implement an "in-app" viewer of the wsjtx but I couldn't find any simple code. I wrote it this afternoon.
The code is a standalone UDP program in C that listens on port 2237 and interprets the F8 activity sent by wsjtx running in the background. It should work well on windows as well if you just change the library and the headers.
It is on?
To compile it on linux, just type:
?gcc -o udp wsjtx_udp.c?
And run it from the command line.

Re: uBITX Scratch Build Volume Issue #ubitx-help #ubitx #homebrew #v5

Hello Chris
Thanks for your reply, yes at the time I write this letter, I also found, that the big elco capacitor Vcc filter is mandatory. I also experiment that one 1000uF is needed. My AF amp is LM386, gain was 200 alias 46dB, the preamp was simulated around 40dB if correct.
My amp still not enough level, except use 2 preamp.

But fortunately I found 60dB preamp after long search in google.? See techlib.com

Thanks
