Re: bitx v6 is here
I like the upgraded display. I assume I will be able to upgrade my v5. Will the new sketch allow boards earlier than v5 add the display? Dale -- Dale Hardin Elberta, AL

Impressive upgrade. Amazing you were able to squeeze this into the Nano processor. I'll try the upgrade to this new display on my older uBitx. Tom, wb6b

No, you will need to go into transmit mode.? Unless you have a dummy load, I would disconnect the power from the finals (the brown wire on the 3 wire connector for power to the board).? That way you

Re: ?BITX & QRP labs 50W PA
Hans, Even 25 ma idle current should be enough, given that it is a push pull amplifier and a large part of the power cycle keeps one or the other transistor switched on. - f wrote:

Re: ?BITX & QRP labs 50W PA
Hi all Changing amplifier class is firstly a matter of altering the idle current. It requires an increase in bias to increase the idle current (NOT a decrease in bias). That is the first thing to try.

Two ways to go forward at this time: 1 - Measure the bias voltages on the transistors 2 - Remove the transistors and do typical diode check on each junction I would do the bias voltage checks. You are
