Band segment
How do you adjust the tuning segment of the band. My coverage is mostly the bottom part of 40. On the same note, can CW be added, in addition to ssb? Travis Russell KK4YMI Sent from my iPhone

BITX 40
Hi Gents, I'm new to the group. Our club is considering building BITX40'a as a club project. I'll probably have many questions as we go. Number 1- Anyone know the dimensions of the circuit board,

Re: Calling CQ on 7.285 with BITX
Bill at about 16:07 I called you and could hear some one respond, but I make out the call sign as the qrm was I and the signal was just above the noise in So Cal. 73 Tim Sutton Ki6bge

Hi Mark, I made up two modules. One with ADE and one with homebrew torroids and 1n4148 diodes. I have no specialist equipment with the exception of my ears but there was no discernible difference

ADE-1 vs SBL-1 vs Diode Ring Mixers
Hello all! I need to decide which bitx version to build (3B vs 3C). As I understand, the 3B uses diode ring mixers and wound toroids, and the 3C uses factory made mixers. My question is, *is there

Re: Bitx40 SI5351 drive strength
I take the ringing back, bad scope probe ground connection. Signal is much better, 1.6 v p-p, sort of squarish with some ringing on top and bottom peaks. 73 Ken

Re: Bitx40 SI5351 drive strength
Out of interest sake, I scoped the 5351 signal at T2 with 2ma and 8 ma. The signal is identical. But the signal is distorted. The signal is 2 v p-p but 0.5 volts is ringing at the top and bottom the

Re: Qrp labs DDS question
You're right. Reading further on the Qrp labs website, they state Farhan recommends using the DDS and in that paragraph is says to cut out the coil. then plug in the DDS and you are good to go.

Re: Qrp labs DDS question
If you leave the coil in place, you are providing a series LC circuit to the load of the DDS. At resonate, that would be a short to the DDS to ground. Probably not ideal. I'd remove it.

Qrp labs DDS question
When using the DDS is it necessary to take the coil , L4, out of circuit. By not using the tuning pot the circuit has no power., does the coil still affect the circuit or does it physically need
