1st I posted am interference, a bci filter kit was recommended, so I ordered, put it together and installed on the trace. It improved the receive side, but I have not yet made a contact, so I hooked a swr/ power meter to it, and as I suspected, no needle swing at all. I got the thing thru giga parts, just wanted a qrp rig to do some pota and portable, but so far this has been very disappointing! Is this the mic, or something in the circuit, I don't have another 1 pin mic to try.I can take the bci back out and jump the trace, any ideas? Ko4fud.?
