HF Signals were supposed to start shipping the sbitx by 1st July, but a combination of software?bugs and shortage of raspberry pis has delayed it by two weeks. You might be able to buy it by next week.?

This should come with a caveat, the sbitx is a very ambitious project, what will go on sale will be a developers' edition?: that is, it is meant for people who are fine with pulling in newer versions of the software from the internet, finding bugs, hacking the radio, etc. It might take another few months for it to qualify as a first radio unless you are familiar with ubuntu / Linux software.

I also expect that in a few months the raspberry pi prices will ease. Yes, after the first lot of the developers edition, the boards will be available as well. I have written the software to specifically work with the official raspberry pi 7 inch display (800x480 resolution).
