Thanks for quick response.? Powering up via battery. Getting 9V past switch. ..... Ahh- Found the problem. Bad solder joint on external power connector not allowing negative (ground) lead to connect to board from battery. Corrected solder issue (and reflowed a couple of other joints that looked suspect) and voila! all is well.?
